What is it

Jackie Patience is a browser extension that reacts to impatience.

When you scroll too fast, the extension intervenes. A fullscreen image appears and interrupts your behavior.

Scrolling becomes a conscious act again.

Tested on myself. Results were uncomfortable.

Installation

  1. Download the .zip file
  2. Unzip the folder
  3. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions
  4. Enable “Developer mode”
  5. Click “Load unpacked” and select the folder
  6. Start scrolling
